How we work

Five promises, and what each one means on a Monday morning

Anyone can vacuum. What you're paying for is never having to think about it. Here's how we make that real, in plain terms.

Promise 1

One trained cleaner, personally trained by the owner

Before anyone from Meridian sets foot in your office, Anna has trained them herself, to a luxury-hospitality standard, on your checklist. The same person comes every week and learns your space: which door sticks, where the boardroom chairs go, what never gets touched.

Promise 2

A fixed day, every week, and warning before any change

At the walkthrough we agree your service day around your hours: every Thursday, or before every Monday. Your team can expect a fresh start. If a stat holiday moves a visit, we tell you in advance so you can tell your team, never after.

Promise 3

Every visit logged where you can see it

Each clean is recorded in a shared log with notes: what was done, anything we noticed, anything you should know. Open it any time. It's your proof, and it's how we hold ourselves to the standard.

Promise 4

A Quality Representative on site within 24 hours

If something isn't right, tell us once. A Meridian Quality Representative is in your office within 24 hours to see it and make it right. Not a phone call, a person. It's not about being perfect. It's about making it right when things aren't.

Promise 5

People you'd let into your own home

Every Meridian cleaner is police and vulnerable-sector checked and WHMIS certified. Nothing on a desk is read or moved; if we lift something to clean under it, it goes back exactly where it was. We're insured, licensed and WCB covered, so nothing that happens in your building becomes your liability.

Promise 6

Switching is one email, and we write it

If you are leaving another company, tell us your notice period. We set your start date for the day after it ends, draft the cancellation note for you to send, and handle keys, alarm and first-visit reset. You change cleaners without changing your week.

Also

We notice things, and we tell you

A heater that isn't working, a tap that drips, a door that doesn't latch. We've run offices; we know these are the things that eat an office manager's week. When we see one, it goes in your log, and if it helps, Anna will draft the note to your building or vendor so it's one less thing on your desk.

Common questions

What office managers ask us

Who exactly is in my office after hours?

One named cleaner, introduced to you before their first visit, police and vulnerable-sector checked, WHMIS certified, and trained personally by Anna. If they're ever away, you'll know who's covering before they arrive.

What happens if a visit is missed or something is skipped?

Tell us once, by note in your log, text or call. A Meridian Quality Representative is on site within 24 hours to see it and make it right. Your log also shows you every visit, so you never have to wonder whether we came.

Do we have to sign a long agreement?

A 12-month agreement earns a 5% saving and locks your rate for the year. If you'd rather start month-to-month at the standard rate, you can, and move to the 12-month rate whenever you're comfortable.

Can you work around our schedule?

Yes. Most clients choose after hours or the weekend so nothing interrupts a meeting or a session. We agree the day and window at the walkthrough and keep to it.

Do you clean medical or dental clinics?

We clean medical-grade spaces at our medical rate, which covers hospital-grade disinfectants and clinical protocols. Our core focus today is professional offices, and we'll tell you honestly at the walkthrough whether your space is a fit.

What if something gets damaged?

Tell us and we make it right. Meridian carries commercial general liability insurance and every cleaner is covered by WCB, so neither a broken item nor an injury ever becomes your liability.
